HomeEdits delivers furniture and interior products across Karnataka, subject to serviceability of the delivery location.

2. Delivery Charges

Free Delivery

Free delivery is offered within a radius of 5 kilometers from the HomeEdits store location.

Paid Delivery

  • For deliveries beyond 5 kilometers, shipping charges shall apply.
  • Shipping charges vary based on:
    • Delivery location
    • Product size and weight
    • Mode of transport and handling requirements
  • Applicable shipping charges will be communicated to the customer before or at the time of delivery confirmation.

3. Delivery Timelines

  • Delivery timelines provided at the time of order confirmation are indicative estimates only.
  • Actual delivery may vary due to:

    • Logistics and transportation constraints
    • Weather conditions or unforeseen circumstances
  • HomeEdits shall not be liable for delays caused due to factors beyond reasonable control.

4. Inspection at the Time of Delivery

  • Customers are required to inspect the product thoroughly at the time of delivery.
  • Any visible damage, defect, or discrepancy must be reported immediately at the time of delivery.
  • Issues reported after acceptance of the product may not be entertained.

5. Self-Pickup

  • Customers opting for self-pickup must inspect the product at the time of collection.
  • Once the product is collected and accepted, HomeEdits shall not be responsible for any damage thereafter.

6. Installation Services

  • Installation services, where offered, may be chargeable.
  • Installation charges will apply for deliveries made outside Chikmagalur, Karnataka, unless expressly stated otherwise.
  • Applicable installation charges will be communicated separately and borne by the customer.

7. Accessibility & Site Readiness

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring:
    • Proper access to the delivery location
    • Adequate space for delivery and installation
    • Readiness of the site, including stairs, lifts, entry points, and utilities (if required)
  • Any additional costs incurred due to access issues shall be borne by the customer.

8. Failed or Delayed Deliveries

  • In case delivery cannot be completed due to incorrect address, unavailability of the customer, or site inaccessibility, re-delivery charges may apply.
  • HomeEdits reserves the right to reschedule delivery based on logistical feasibility.

9. Change in Delivery Address

Any request for a change in delivery address after order confirmation may result in additional shipping charges and revised delivery timelines.

10. Ownership & Risk

Ownership and risk of the product pass to the customer upon successful delivery and acceptance of the product.
