6. Shipping, Delivery & Installation

Delivery Charges

  • Free delivery is offered only within a radius of 5 kilometers from the HomeEdits store location.
  • Deliveries beyond this radius shall attract shipping charges, which will be communicated to the customer before or at the time of delivery confirmation.
  • Shipping charges vary based on delivery location, product size, weight, and logistical requirements.

Delivery Timelines

Delivery timelines provided are indicative estimates and may vary due to operational, logistical, or external factors beyond our reasonable control.

Installation Charges

  • Installation charges shall apply for deliveries made outside Chikmagalur, Karnataka.
  • Installation charges, where applicable, shall be communicated separately and borne by the customer unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing.

7. Order Confirmation & Acceptance

  • An order shall be deemed confirmed only upon successful payment and formal acknowledgment by HomeEdits.
  • HomeEdits reserves the right to cancel, modify, or refuse any order due to stock unavailability, pricing errors, or logistical constraints.
  • Any amount paid for a cancelled order shall be refunded in accordance with applicable laws.

8. Returns, Refunds, Exchanges, Cancellations & Warranty

Final Sale Policy

All sales are final. Goods once sold are not eligible for return, exchange, or cancellation, except as expressly required under applicable law or covered under the warranty terms stated below.

Inspection at Purchase or Delivery

  • Customers opting for self-pickup are required to inspect the product thoroughly at the time of purchase and collection.
  • For HomeEdits-arranged deliveries, customers must inspect the product at the time of delivery.
  • Any visible defects, transit damages, or discrepancies must be reported immediately at the time of delivery or pickup.
  • Issues reported after acceptance of the product shall not be entertained.

Manufacturing Defect Warranty

  • Warranty, if applicable, shall be strictly as mentioned in the individual product description.
  • Warranty coverage applies only to manufacturing defects and is subject to the specific terms disclosed for the product.
  • The warranty does not cover, without limitation:
  • Stitching-related issues
  • Fabric or material sagging
  • Sounds, creaking, or noise arising from normal use
  • Color variations, fading, or natural characteristics of materials
  • Normal wear and tear
  • Damage caused by misuse, mishandling, relocation, improper installation, or inadequate maintenance
  • Services relating to the above exclusions may be offered on a chargeable basis, subject to inspection and feasibility.

Warranty Claims

9. Custom & Made-to-Order Products

  • Customized or made-to-order furniture is manufactured specifically as per customer specifications.
  • Such products are non-returnable, non-exchangeable, and non-cancellable, except in cases of proven manufacturing defects covered under the stated warranty.

10. Installation & Assembly

  • Installation or assembly services, where provided, may be chargeable unless expressly stated otherwise.
  • Customers are responsible for ensuring adequate access, space, site readiness, and utilities (if required) at the delivery location.

11. Website Use, Security & Technical Limitations

  • HomeEdits undertakes reasonable measures to maintain the security, functionality, and accuracy of the website; however, no website or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure or error-free.
  • HomeEdits does not warrant uninterrupted access, absence of technical errors, or immunity from viruses or unauthorized access.
  • HomeEdits shall not be liable for any loss or damage arising from:
